How We're Built
Flat structure. Real ownership. Every member ships.
Intern
New members start here. Rotate across projects, learn different functions, and find where you fit.
Automatically promoted to Fellow after one semester.
Fellow
The backbone of BIA. Fellows lead projects, host events, and shape the direction of the organization.
Fellows can be elected to E-Board by the team.
E-Board
Four people. Strategic direction, flagship events, and final say on new projects. The buck stops here.

FAQ
Bridging Internationals Association is a selective student community at USC. We build real products, host large-scale events, and connect international students with industry through technology, cultural exchange, and professional development.
No. We select for curiosity, initiative, and taste — not credentials. Members come from all majors. What matters is what you want to build and your willingness to ship.
Around 5-8 hours per week including team meetings, project work, and events. Academics always come first.
Yes. Some of our strongest members joined as freshmen. Class year doesn't matter — drive does.
We keep cohorts small to maintain quality. Each cycle we receive significantly more applications than spots available. But if you're the right fit, we'll know.
You join as an Intern, rotate across active projects to find your fit, get paired with a Fellow mentor, and after one semester you're automatically promoted to Fellow with full project ownership.
